After a successful meeting with the Parish Council, the Bamby Dun Park Rangers are on track and into the next stage of the planning process for the development of the Parish Hall Play Area. Initial plans have been drawn up and meetings are taking place with various council members, architects and play providers to ensure the logistics of these

Once complete there will be a consultation period where community residents will be encouraged to view the proposed plans and offer their opinions and views. We would very much hope that as many people as possible take time to come forward and voice their opinions. The plans for me developments hope to meet the need of all residents, not just our children, so please when the time comes, get in touch and let us know you thoughts!  BARNBY DUN PLAYERS

A big thank you to everyone who came to see our rendition of our Aladdin pantomime. I hope you had a good time because I know we did and it showed in the performance of the whole group whether on stage or off. Claire who directed us thisyear and did a fabulous job of getting it all together and producing a memorable show once again. Well done Claire xx

We haven't any plans for this year in Barnby Dun, but once again some of us have gone to Fishlake to join them in a summer variety show, singing dancing and sketches. I will keep you in the picture in this magazine and look out for posters around the village nearer the time of the show.

MOBILE PHONES

If you have any old mobile phones which you no longer use, you may receive a new one for Christmas, would you please consider donating these to support the Yorkshire Air Ambulance ? During the past months we must have sent them around 30 mobiles, they receive at least £6 for each mobile which helps their funding, they have 2 helicopters which at present cost over £7,000 each day to run. You can pass a mobile to any church member, or drop them in at 4 Mallard Avenue, I have special envelopes to post them on at no charge, they do not require the  chargers, thanks to anyone who donates a mobile.
